I liked the idea for the story, I like sex in a story, but sex took over the story. It seemed gratuitous. I have read Carly Phillips before, but not Erica Wilde. I always like reading a series to find out what happens to the other characters introduced, but I have a feeling it would be more sex than story, so I am going to pass.

Wow....what a great start to a new "dirty, sexy" series by these two "great authors". Just doesn't get any better than this.. should be 6 stars! ! ! Clay's awful childhood made him closed off and he doesn't believe he deserves love in his life after what his mother put him and his brothers through growing up, but he is there to help anyone he cares about with whatever their needs happen to be so his brothers have called him the "saint" for those good deeds. When he meets Sam at his bar he thinks she is a privileged, lady who has no clue about life outside her world and he wants to do all sorts of "dirty" things to her, but he knows he doesn't fit into her world. When she gets drunk at his bar and tells him her story he decides that he will help her find her independence and be the person she wants to be. What he didn't realize was what Sam's "sexy" persona would do to help him get past his demons. So starts the course that will change both their lives .....can love prevail and bring them together or does Sam return to her privileged life?? Can't wait for the next book about Mason.......

Dirty Sexy Saint by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde is the first book in their new series Dirty Sexy. Each book in this series is a standalone story in itself but connected by characters within, namely the Kincaid brothers (swoon). Samantha is a privileged young woman forced into making a life changing decision by her over-bearing father who seeks to control her life simply to keep his business in the family. Clay Kincaid is the owner of the bar where Samantha ends up after walking out on her life, completely. He is known for his penchant for taking in strays, human or animal, and helping them get back on their feet (or paws). He does this in an effort to redeem himself as he feels unworthy, but he turns out to be just that good of a guy. Oldest of the three Kincaid brothers, their past was dark and damaging and it's a miracle they got this far with as few issues as they actually have. Well-paced, well-written with some ridiculously HOT and STEAMY moments between the sheets, I absolutely cannot wait to read more in this series and from this writing duo.

I have a new favorite series and it's called the "Dirty Sexy Series." This was a smooth, sexy, totally engrossing story and I think I'll read it again. I was completely surprised by Samantha. Her personality and background was not what I was expecting but it was perfect for this story line. Samantha makes a decision one day to stop letting her family run her life. This decision has been brewing in her mind for a while but she didn't think it through completely because when she walked out, she only left with the clothes on her back and enough cash for a taxi ride. It must have been fate that she was delivered to Kincaid's by the taxi driver. Clay Kincaid, bar owner, is mega sexy and underneath the tragic past is a man with a heart of gold...a dirty, sexy heart of gold. If you expected "amazing" from these two brilliant romance authors, that's what they delivered! All the characters in this first book are great and I can't wait for book two, Dirty Sexy Inked. Erika Wilde and Carly Phillips are 2 of my absolute favorite authors ever and when I found out they were planning to write a book together, I was over the moon happy. Book baby from 2 favorite authors!!! Dirty Sexy Saint had me wanting to do nothing but read from the moment I started the book. Samantha Jamieson comes from money, as in her father is a billionaire. However, her father also thinks his money means he can control Samantha and who she marries. I loved that Samantha was strong enough to not only tell him no, but to walk away with nothing but the clothes on her back. Luckily when she ends up on the wrong side of the tracks, it's in Clay Kincaid's bar. Clay is hands down the sexiest alpha male ever, but he also has a heart of gold when it comes to taking care of people down on their luck. Dirty Sexy Saint is super sexy and hot. The chemistry between Clay and Samantha is off the charts hot and I loved that Samantha liked sex just as fast and filthy as Clay. I honestly didn't expect Samantha to fit in with Clay and his friends and family as well as she did and ended up loving her character every bit as much as Clay. OMG they are both so protective of one another and I loved they couldn't get enough of each other. Even with their backgrounds being so completely different, I adored Clay and Samantha as a couple. Dirty Sexy Saint was an amazing start to the Dirty Sexy series from Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. I can't wait to read both Mason and Levi's stories!

What we readers received was Dirty Sexy Saint the first book of a new series by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. Combining their voices created a strong story, with characters that not only have compassion empathy but also depth. This wonderful start shows that this new series promises to be amazing! I will say that this first installment is dirty, sexy and a whole lot more! Clay Kincaid had a dreadful upbringing; there is really no other way to describe it. Despite having to fight for everything he now has, he's made a good life for himself with his bar. While his two younger brothers drive him nuts, they in his corner as well. The one thing he's closed himself off to is love. He doesn't do commitment or long term relationships; he doesn't think he's cut out for them. He believes he more sinner than saint. But will a blonde patron end up changing his mind? Samantha Jamieson had everything in life that Clay was denied and then some. Realizing that she want to direct the path her life will take which radically differed from the direction her parents have envisioned for her, she ends up making a radical decision which prompts her father to cut her off. With no money, no home and just the clothes on her back, she encounters Clay when she goes to the last bar she would have ever visited in her previous life. Once I started reading this book I couldn't stop until I was done...yes that means I skipped on dishes and got my husband to pick up food that day! The title of this book alone sparked my interest and describes the book so well! This is my new favorite book, even surpassing "50 Shades of Grey" (shocking I know) but I'm serious and can't wait to read the rest of this series. Samantha (a.k.a. Cupcake) and Clay (a.k.a. Saint Clay) will have you hooked from the very beginning. Clay is what every woman dreams of when thinking of the perfect man. He may have a "Saint" heart and would do anything for anyone but in the bedroom he is "Dirty"! Samantha had a rich upbringing thus she is dubbed a "Cupcake" from Clay. To his surprise she has a different side to her that desires Clay's dirty side. I won't say anything else because I don't want to spoil the book for anyone! What a fantastic story from these two authors! I could not put this book down. These characters were just great! Samantha Jamieson comes from a family of wealth and is an only child. She has been raised to be the perfect daughter and perfect little wife...think Stepford wife. When she overhears her father talking to her boyfriend that once he marries Samantha, he will make him the CEO of the company, Samantha throws a fit. She was thinking of breaking up with Harrison, not every marrying him! When her father threatens to take away everything from her but the clothes on her back, Samantha doesn't care. She just wants out! After ditching her car and cell phone so her dad can't track her, she calls a cab and tells the cab driver to take her to her favorite bar in Chicago. Soon they arrive at Kincaid's. Samantha is having a great time ordering every drink on the menu with the dirtiest names and has gotten herself very drunk. She ends up being the last person in the bar and the bar's owner, Clay Kincaid wants to just put her in cab and send her home. She looks way to wealthy for his lifestyle. Soon Clay realizes that this woman has no money and no place to go so Saint Clay kicks in. The banter and flirting between these two was awesome! I loved the nickname Cupcake! Perfect! Clay decides to bring her to his apartment up above the bar. This scene was so funny! Let's just say Saint Clay is "trying" to be a saint and Samantha is trying everything in her power to make him the devil! ;) Clay decides to give Samantha a chance and let's her work at the bar. He figures she won't last more than one night. Well she proves him wrong and the walls around his heart are starting to get some cracks in them. The chemistry between these two was off the charts! I loved how two people with such different backgrounds fit together so well. I loved how he just seemed to know what Samantha needed. Quickly these two fell deeply in love with the other, without even knowing it. Clay's backstory was a great twist. I just adored both of his brothers. I so can't wait to read Mason's story. Sounds like the perfect bad boy! The final standoff at the end was perfect. As usual, I laughed out loud, swooned and cried during this story. Overall a great book and I look forward to the others in the series!

OMG they are both so protective of one another and I loved they couldn't get enough of each other. Even with their backgrounds being so completely different, I adored Clay and Samantha as a couple. Dirty Sexy Saint was an amazing start to the Dirty Sexy series from Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. I can't wait to read both Mason and Levi's stories!

Once I started reading this book I couldn't stop until I was done...yes that means I skipped on dishes and got my husband to pick up food that day! The title of this book alone sparked my interest and describes the book so well! This is my new favorite book, even surpassing "50 Shades of Grey" (shocking I know) but I'm serious and can't wait to read the rest of this series. Samantha (a.k.a. Cupcake) and Clay (a.k.a. Saint Clay) will have you hooked from the very beginning. Clay is what every woman dreams of when thinking of the perfect man. What a fantastic story from these two authors! I could not put this book down. These characters were just great! Samantha Jamieson comes from a family of wealth and is an only child. She has been raised to be the perfect daughter and perfect little wife...think Stepford wife. When she overhears her father talking to her boyfriend that once he marries Samantha, he will make him the CEO of the company, Samantha throws a fit. She was thinking of breaking up with Harrison, not every marrying him! When her father threatens to take away everything from her but the clothes on her back, Samantha doesn't care. She just wants out! After ditching her car and cell phone so her dad can't track her, she calls a cab and tells the cab driver to take her to her favorite bar in Chicago. Soon they arrive at Kincaid's. Samantha is having a great time ordering every drink on the menu with the dirtiest names and has gotten herself very drunk. She ends up being the last person in the bar and the bar's owner, Clay Kincaid wants to just put her in cab and send her home. She looks way to wealthy for his lifestyle. Soon Clay realizes that this woman has no money and no place to go so Saint Clay kicks in. The banter and flirting between these two was awesome! I loved the nickname Cupcake! Perfect! Clay decides to bring her to his apartment up above the bar. This scene was so funny! Let's just say Saint Clay is "trying" to be a saint and Samantha is trying everything in her power to make him the devil! ;) Clay decides to give Samantha a chance and let's her work at the bar. He figures she won't last more than one night. Well she proves him wrong and the walls around his heart are starting to get some cracks in them. The chemistry between these two was off the charts! I loved how two people with such different backgrounds fit together so well. I loved how he just seemed to know what Samantha needed. Quickly these two fell deeply in love with the other, without even knowing it. Clay's backstory was a great twist. I just adored both of his brothers. I so can't wait to read Mason's story. Sounds like the perfect bad boy! The final standoff at the end was perfect. As usual, I laughed out loud, swooned and cried during this story. Overall a great book and I look forward to the others in the series!

Wow....what a great start to a new "dirty, sexy" series by these two "great authors". Just doesn't get any better than this.. should be 6 stars! ! ! Clay's awful childhood made him closed off and he doesn't believe he deserves love in his life after what his mother put him and his brothers through growing up, but he is there to help anyone he cares about with whatever their needs happen to be so his brothers have called him the "saint" for those good deeds. When he meets Sam at his bar he thinks she is a privileged, lady who has no clue about life outside her world and he wants to do all sorts of "dirty" things to her, but he knows he doesn't fit into her world. When she gets drunk at his bar and tells him her story he decides that he will help her find her independence and be the person she wants to be. What he didn't realize was what Sam's "sexy" persona would do to help him get past his demons. So starts the course that will change both their lives .....can love prevail and bring them together or does Sam return to her privileged life?? Can't wait for the next book about Mason.......

Dirty Sexy Saint by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde is the first book in their new series Dirty Sexy. Each book in this series is a standalone story in itself but connected by characters within, namely the Kincaid brothers (swoon). Samantha is a privileged young woman forced into making a life changing decision by her over-bearing father who seeks to control her life simply to keep his business in the family. Clay Kincaid is the owner of the bar where Samantha ends up after walking out on her life, completely. He is known for his penchant for taking in strays, human or animal, and helping them get back on their feet (or paws). He does this in an effort to redeem himself as he feels unworthy, but he turns out to be just that good of a guy. Oldest of the three Kincaid brothers, their past was dark and damaging and it's a miracle they got this far with as few issues as they actually have. Well-paced, well-written with some ridiculously HOT and STEAMY moments between the sheets, I absolutely cannot wait to read more in this series and from this writing duo.

I have a new favorite series and it's called the "Dirty Sexy Series." This was a smooth, sexy, totally engrossing story and I think I'll read it again. I was completely surprised by Samantha. Her personality and background was not what I was expecting but it was perfect for this story line. Samantha makes a decision one day to stop letting her family run her life. This decision has been brewing in her mind for a while but she didn't think it through completely because when she walked out, she only left with the clothes on her back and enough cash for a taxi ride. It must have been fate that she was delivered to Kincaid's by the taxi driver. Clay Kincaid, bar owner, is mega sexy and underneath the tragic past is a man with a heart of gold...a dirty, sexy heart of gold. If you expected "amazing" from these two brilliant romance authors, that's what they delivered! All the characters in this first book are great and I can't wait for book two, Dirty Sexy Inked. Erika Wilde and Carly Phillips are 2 of my absolute favorite authors ever and when I found out they were planning to write a book together, I was over the moon happy. Book baby from 2 favorite authors!!! Dirty Sexy Saint had me wanting to do nothing but read from the moment I started the book. Samantha Jamieson comes from money, as in her father is a billionaire. However, her father also thinks his money means he can control Samantha and who she marries. I loved that Samantha was strong enough to not only tell him no, but to walk away with nothing but the clothes on her back. Luckily when she ends up on the wrong side of the tracks, it's in Clay Kincaid's bar. Clay is hands down the sexiest alpha male ever, but he also has a heart of gold when it comes to taking care of people down on their luck. Dirty Sexy Saint is super sexy and hot. The chemistry between Clay and Samantha is off the charts hot and I loved that Samantha liked sex just as fast and filthy as Clay. I honestly didn't expect Samantha to fit in with Clay and his friends and family as well as she did and ended up loving her character every bit as much as Clay. Fabulous start to this new series!

**I was provided an ARC by the authors for an honest review** What a fantastic start to this new series by the fabulous Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde! I loved the idea of this series when it was first presented and I can say that the first installment is dirty, sexy and a whole lot more! Clay Kincaid had an awful childhood, there is just no other way to put it. Even though he has had to fight for everything he's got, he's made a good life for himself with his bar and while they drive him nuts, he still has his two younger brothers in his corner as well. The one thing he's closed himself off to is love. He doesn't do commitment or long term relationships; he doesn't think he's cut out for them. But will a blonde patron end up changing his mind? Samantha Jamieson has had everything in life that Clay hasn't and then some. Realizing that she wants to live her life and not the life her parents have envisioned for her, she ends up making a radical decision which prompts her father to cut her off. With no money, no home and just the clothes on her back, she encounters Clay when she goes to the last bar she would have ever visited in her previous life. Will the kindness of this stranger be the person that will help her fulfill the dreams she's always had, but always had to suppress? This book is definitely hot and sexy, but it is also a story about how people can overcome their situations in life and make life better not only for themselves, but also for those that come into their orbit. I adored the characters of Samantha and Clay and I cannot wait to see what Carly and Erika have in store for Mason in Dirty Sext Inked! Kudos on an awesome start to this new series!
